A FAMILY WEEKEND
A weekend worth repeating.
Lake & Shore became the setting for a summer family gathering with my sisters Janet and Jeanine, their kids and significant others. We used two campsites for the weekend, with my camper on one site while the rest of the family shared another site with a motorhome and tent.
The campground gave us plenty to do together. The lake was a big part of the weekend, with swimming and kayaking, along with crafts and other campground activities. Most of the weekend naturally moved between the campsites, the water and time spent together.
Music became one of the best parts of the weekend. Katie, Elyssa and I played together at the campsite, and for a few songs the rest of the family joined in singing along.
The weekend went so well that everyone left talking about making Lake & Shore an annual family gathering.
